Post-card for Kalady (pre-christian Christmas). In Belarus in this period a goat was an important character of caroling. It "died" and then raised up again and "where a goat walks there a rye grows". However, according to old myths during this period a bagpipe was finally made from this sacrificial animal. So the post-card depicts a mummer (probably a bagpiper) and a goat which suspects something is going wrong ;)
