Project Description

2nd edition of Bahach - a traditional Belarusian festival marking the end of the harvest season and celebrated close to the autumnal equinox. Dusring these selebrations "Bahach" is the name of a basket of rye with a candle inserted in the middle. The poster here was made for a festival organised by the Students' Ethnographic Assiciation at the State Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala in Viazynka village.

My name is Eugen, I'm a designer and a front-end developer from Minsk, Belarus. I've studied System Analisys at CSN faculty of BSUIR and made my first website in 2004. Since then I worked as a full-stack freelancer, as a designer making sites and online casino games for Antalika, as a technical designer for a creative and cosy Adliga Advertising Agency and for 4 years as a senior front-end developer for Colours, a top-10 web-agency of Netherlands.

Songwriting, traditional culture, ethnomusicology and yachting are among my hobbies. Also I often help with design and promotion to different social and cultural projects and events in Belarus.

Ideal project for me is where the combination of my skills could be useful. It means I would prefer not just doing a front-end or a visual/informational design tasks, but to use my knowledge in a complex to make a client happy.

As for full-time job, I would prefer an international team with established workflows and ability to learn and switch between a variety of disciplines. Offices worldwide and business trips would be a delight (I do enjoy traveling, this inspires me a lot).
